Wind Propulsion for VLCC Tankers

VLCC tankers are well suited for Monorotor wind propulsion.  The retrofitting process involves installing two 24m diameter by 25m Monorotors on on the bow and stern of the Tanker.

The table below shows the estimated fuel savings at various wind speeds.
